our story
Javanese Tradition
Ancient Craft
Endonezya Handem was born in a small atelier in Mojokerto’s batik quarter, where three generations of artisans have refined the art of hand-turning and finishing writing instruments. Our pens carry the patience of that lineage in every groove.
We source sustainably harvested tropical hardwoods — ebony, rosewood, and teak — alongside ethically refined metals. Every component is shaped, polished, and assembled in-house, without automation, before each pen leaves our workshop.
OUR VISION
“To place a piece of Indonesian heritage in the hands of every serious writer — an instrument that is as beautiful to hold as it is to use.”
